DAVID PALMER - INNER CINEMA
Until April 10, 2026
INNER CINEMA David Palmer March 14 to April 10 An astronaut holds a floating dog on a leash. A pond of water lilies bursts into red and gold. Californian palm trees fracture into shards of pure color. David Palmer’s paintings carry that rare and uncanny quality of dream images: instantly recognizable, yet impossible in reality. Their deliberately aged surfaces, reminiscent of sun-bleached billboards or walls that have witnessed everything, lend his subjects an unusual depth: astronauts drifting in silence, animals caught in a fleeting moment, everyday objects elevated to the level of symbols. Inner Cinema is the film that begins without warning, somewhere between memory and imagination. Palmer projects it onto large-scale canvases with a palette that crackles with color and a tenderness that lingers. The Gallery invites you to step inside the screening room from March 14 to April 10.
